Dave’s Electric Appliance (formerly Dave’s Electric) has been locally owned, operated, and independently-run since 1967. Company founder David MacKay first opened the doors on Richard Street in 1967. In 1992, Dave’s son-in-law Grant Neilson and son Steve (who has since retired) purchased the business, and in 1996, they moved their location to Sandy Point Road, where you will find the showroom today! In 1997, they began to offer full retail sales and service, as well as repair services to their valued customers. The business is currently owned and operated by Grant and his Wife Karen (Dave’s daughter).
Dave’s Electric Appliance now carries a full line of quality major appliances and is very proud to offer many other services, such as delivery, setup, and installation of all products. The team will also haul away your old appliances. We take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring satisfaction, not only at the time of purchase but also with after‑sale service.
